POWER-GEN CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION IN ABU DHABI

Power-Gen Conference & Exhibition 2014 is going to be held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) form next 12 October to 14 October. During this three days events attendees are given the opportunity to networking and sharing knowledge and updates on the most relevant topics concerning this industry field.

The conference program will give participants first-hand inputs on import issues related to core topics such as the sustainable development of world energy, today’s opportunities and tomorrow’s challenges, power and water projects, improving plant and power system efficiency, integrated watershed planning process in the Middle East, alternative fuels for power generation within oil and gas industry, nuclear power technologies and optimizing operation and revenue from large combustion plants, among many others.

WaterWorld Middle East, a renewable event focusing on water and wastewater, will be running alongside Power-Gen Conference & Exhibition.

EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION MEETING IN OMAN

OPW Efficiency & Conservation 2014 is opening its doors next Sunday 18 May in Muscat (Oman). The meeting will focus on the renewable energies and water projects taking place in Oman.

The use of renewable energy for producing electricity is of crucial importance for the region. This topic will be addressed in the conference sessions, along with others also affecting a sustainable development such as the energy efficiency and conservation plan in the power sector, the implementation of the comprehensive cooling plan throughout Abu Dhabi, Egypt pollution reduction measures, water and food security for arid regions, business opportunities and industry challenges, solar energy for power generation and reducing water losses, among others.

SOLAR MIDDLE EAST AND MIDDLE EAST ELECTRICITY 2014

 

Solar Middle East will take place in Dubai (UAE) on February 11-13, running alongside the Middle East Electricity meeting. Both events will focus on the significance growth, current and expected, experienced by the electricity industry sector over the past years.

The second edition of Solar Middle East exhibition will function as a platform for networking, learning and sharing information about the latest technologies, developments and trends in the solar energy industry field.

The conference programme will highlight core issues such as integrating renewable energy sources into the Middle East’s energy mix, sustainability within the region’s economic development plans, regulation, financing and licensing to ensure competitiveness, MENA market overview, the role of private equity, bank lending and PPP in financing renewables projects, latest advancements in PV and CSP technologies and opportunities in the Middle East, among many others.

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend the Green Energy Conference and the two different workshops which have been organized.

The Solar Tech Turkey 2014 will open on 27 January in Istanbul. The meeting is focusing on solar technology and the challenges facing the country to meet its burgeoning energy demand.
