MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA SOLAR CONFERENCE IN DUBAI

The 5th Middle East and North Africa Solar Conference, MENASOL 2013, is going to be celebrated in Dubai, from 14 May to 15 May.

The event focuses on a wide range of themes concerning the renewable energies development in the countries of the MENA region, from learning how to harness local expertise with international technology, concentrated solar photovoltaic (CSP) roadmap to MENA proliferation, off-grid opportunities, energy markets structure and stakeholders and Saudi Arabia focus, among others.

Conference sessions will address a number of valuable issues and will allow participants to learn first-hand about topics such as Dubai’s solar opportunities, PV and CSP in Saudi Arabia, the UAE solar economy, the situation of solar and photovoltaic solar energy in countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Oman and Jordan, financing solar projects, the Middle East’s solar generation needs, energy storage and hybridization, innovations and technologies, among many others.

Running alongside with the conference there will be an exhibition featuring the latest developments, technologies, products and services.

It will also be developing the 2ND ANNUAL WOMEN’S SOLAR SEMINAR. Its aim is to provide women energy professionals, or those aspiring to work in the energy industry, a place for meeting, networking, learning, sharing ideas and experiences. The forum focuses on empowering women in the solar industry.
