The 4th European Conference on Renewable Heating and Cooling, organized by the European Technology Platform on Heating and Cooling (RHC-Platform), is going to take place on 22nd-23rd April in Dublin (Ireland) coinciding with the EU Ministers of Energy’s meeting, also being run in the same city.
The core themes of the conference programme are two. On one hand the new Strategic Research Agenda for Renewable Heating and Cooling in Europe and, on the other hand, the discussion about its Implementation Roadmap.
Relevant issues concerning the heating and cooling industry sector will be addressed, thermal energy storage, hybrid systems and heat pumps, smart cities, smart rural energy, energy supply and demand side, finance and business options available, solar thermal technology, research and development in heating and cooling and geothermal technology, among many others.
Power Industry Middle East Conference and Exhibition
Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates, UAE) is hosting the event Power Industry Middle East Exhibition & Conference on 22nd-23rd April.
More than 250 stakeholders from the power industry sector will participate in the three day conference programme which will focus on relevant topics such as transforming the Middle East into a world leader in efficient, sustainable and renewable energy, investment requirements, encouraging clean tech investment in the UAE, investment opportunities in large scale solar power projects, encouraging renewable power generation growth, among others.
Middle East countries such as UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar and Kuwait, own a large proportion of global oil and gas reserves and therefore they play an important role in power markets.
