The 4th Annual Maghreb/Middle East Renewable Energy Summit 2012 is taking place in the city of Casablanca (Morocco) from 16 April until 17 April. During these two days various core themes related to the renewables field will be addressed.

The attendees will have the opportunity to analyse and participate in different conferences and talks focused on issues such as the implications for wind and solar energy development in these regions, energy regulatory frameworks, policy options, investments opportunities, the latest market and projects updates and many more.

Speakers will include industry worldwide experts and professionals from organizations and companies such as the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the World Bank, Kema Nederland BV, IDECO Electricity Company or the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, among many others.

Policy makers, investors, technology providers, manufacturers, suppliers and other interested stakeholders and professionals will take part in this exceptional event.

The Middle East and Maghreb are regions with enormous possibilities of development within the field of renewable energies, especially wind and solar energies. And due to different economic factors such as the more and more high fuel prizes, there is a growing interest and concern in promoting a sustainable development based on these clean energy resources throughout the region.
