The giant naval shipbuilder Navantia is deeply involved in contributing to develop the Spanish marine renewable energy market. The company, joining forces with the Spanish Maritime Cluster, has set a conference on marine wind energy which is taking place in Madrid on next Thursday 12 January.

Spanish offshore wind farm industry is yet at its first steps of development although all over Europe, mainly in northern Europe (in UK, Ireland and Denmark above all) this kind of wind farms are being fully successful for some time now.

The conference is a must-attend event for anyone interested in the present and future of the marine renewable sector from researchers and policymakers to stakeholders and consumers.
